This tool was developed by participants in the Family Engagement in Research (FER) course in 2024 by Amanda Springer, Tania Prior-Smith, Susie Roczo-Farkas, Sophie Marmont, and Wilissa D’Souza
The focus for this project was to develop a comprehensive toolkit tailored for clinicians/researchers wanting to work with people that have an undiagnosed complex health condition and/or a Rare Disease (RD), and the undiagnosed/RD community wanting to engage with research. This toolkit aims to streamline the research setup process and enhance the effectiveness of research projects through structured guidance and best practices.
The Research Design Toolkit is presented as a website which may be accessed using the link button below.
The Healthy Trajectories Child and Youth Disability Research Hub acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises the continuing connection to the lands and waterways on which we live, learn and work. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and to Elders past, present and emerging.
