What interests you about Healthy Trajectories?
Given my highly rewarding involvement at CP-Achieve, I wanted to spread my wings, support people and learn from others.

Why did you decide to join the Advisory Council?
To increase my knowledge, willingness and advocacy skills.

How do you like to spend your time?
I am currently aiming towards enhancing my career within the disability support sector, by receiving further training and stepping into client support.

What talents and skills do you have?
I am a motivated person, who is always driven to succeed.

What interests you about Healthy Trajectories?
I am currently/have previously been involved in a few research projects to do with Cerebral Palsy, both as an advisor and a participant. I am very interested to see how future research will shape the lives of people with disabilities.

Why did you deicide to join the Advisory Group?
I am currently involved in CP-Achieve (as part of CP-Unite as a young adult advisor), and am interested in bringing my lived experience to this group also.

How do you like to spend your time?
I like to spend my time reading.

What talents and skills do you have?
I have completed a degree in health information management, and have acquired knowledge on medical terminology, medical record management, and technical skills as a result.

What interests you about Healthy Trajectories?
I want to learn from other young people and from researchers. I want to share my perspectives and skills.

Why did you decide to join the Advisory Council?
I was interested in being able to share my lived experience in a way that influences change.

How do you like to spend your time?
I enjoy singing, playing wheelchair sports, and making Lego sets.

What talents and skills do you have?
I started an inclusive performing arts group and love working in groups and individually with other young people. I have assisted in research before as a research partner and have learnt a lot from those experiences. I pride myself on my communication and leadership skills.

What interests you about Healthy Trajectories?
I am interested in contributing to and observing the long-term impacts of disability research on young adults with disability in Australia. I am hoping that these impacts will include improved access to leisure activities and therefore, an increase in vibrancy in communities that would benefit from a higher level of prevalence of this trait.

Why did you decide to join the Advisory Council?
I was interested in joining this group as I really like to contribute my ideas in relation to issues including those outlined above, and advocate for change within the broader community in relation to young adults with disabilities.

How do you like to spend your time?
I like to spend my time engaging with people and learning more about them. Additionally, I like to spend my time completing advocacy projects in relation to social issues about which I am passionate.

What talents and skills do you have?
I have various talents and skills, including, good communication and listening skills, a passion for person-centred work and well-developed research skills.

I want to contribute to the future direction of Healthy Trajectories.

Why did you decide to join the Advisory Council?
I was interested in connecting with others.

How do you like to spend your time?
I spend time attending school, with friends, at drama, swimming, horse riding, and I’ve just started frame running.

What talents and skills do you have?
I am social and a good communicator. I’m also an excellent debater.

What interests you about Healthy Trajectories?
I’m interested in speaking up about disability and helping other people.

Why did you decide to join the Advisory Council?
I like to meet and talk with other people with disabilities.

How do you like to spend your time?
I do ballet every week and I love art, musicals, and puppets. I write to my Pen-Pal Cheryl Henson from the Muppets. I would like to work as a volunteer in a library because I love books.

What talents and skills do you have?
I won the Inaugural Passion for Creativity Award at school. I love art, painting and drawing and my teachers and parents think that I can do this as a job.
