This is an accessibility statement from Healthy Trajectories.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Healthy Trajectories Website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
While our website is not yet fully accessible, we are committed to making it as accessible as possible in the near future. Our website was developed using WordPress Accessibility templates, resulting in a fast-loading site that can be used by screen readers and most browsers, including older ones and those on non-Windows systems. We have also included accessibility tools on the website to ensure that all content can be accessed by users with visual impairments.
Additionally, we are working to make our content easy to read and comprehend. All images on the site have ALT tags, which provide screen reader users and those who have images turned off with a description of the picture’s contents, where appropriate.
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our Healthy Trajectories website. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers by contacting us on our email:
The Healthy Trajectories Child and Youth Disability Research Hub acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises the continuing connection to the lands and waterways on which we live, learn and work. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and to Elders past, present and emerging.
