Family engagement in research (FER) is relatively new to the field of paediatric emergency medicine. This tool was developed to provide a guide for early career researchers in paediatric emergency medicine, as to how families can be involved from the start to finish, as well as the key essentials to make it work. This one-page infographic will be endorsed by the PREDICT (paediatric research in emergency departments international collaborative) network, it will be accessible on their website and shared with all researchers proposing new projects to the network.
