Our aim is to make it possible for children and youth whose lives are complicated by disability to reach their full potential for health and participation across the life span. Healthy Trajectories for all!
By building a strong network of research partners across the Melbourne Children’s Campus and the University of Melbourne we will be able to learn more, faster, to improve the lives of those with child-onset disability and their families. We want to help change the way our society views and includes those with disability.
Our research is in two thematic areas that contain four programs, and is done in partnership with people who have lived experience of disability – those people who we hope will benefit from what is learned.
There are many ways you can get involved with our Healthy Trajectories team. Please explore our opportunities for lived experience consumers, researchers, organisations and students.

We have a strong network of committed people and partners including researchers, advisors and skilled collaborators. Many of our team and the diverse individuals and organisations we partner with have lived experience of disability and extensive professional histories.
The Healthy Trajectories Child and Youth Disability Research Hub acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises the continuing connection to the lands and waterways on which we live, learn and work. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and to Elders past, present and emerging.
